A Guide to Hooism
Introduction
Hooism, for those unaware of its traditions, is a pantheistic religion of uncertain origin (due to its oral tradition) with an abnormal stance on the nature of the world and an emphasis on individuality. It is an inclusive theology consistent with nearly all belief systems or schools of thought. On this site, you will learn about Hooism (along with its related language) through some of the only written Hooist teachings as well as the analysis of historians specializing in the study of Hoo. The following web pages contain the original scripture and its translation with the comments of Desmond Bearmoon and Reina Jus on either side. Please understand that, for ease of introductory understanding, the historians do not analyze more than one passage of scripture at a time, since the innumerable implications of the combined texts require a far more intimate understanding of Hoo than most are likely to achieve. Because of this segmentation, most of the forefront of Hooist thought cannot be expressed in this analysis. As you should have realized upon reading to this point, these documents cannot possibly claim to hold the true meaning of Hoo. Vast amounts of Hooist thought continue to be passed down as oral tradition, and even more is and will always be unknowable. Furthermore, while the analyses provided in this document may have been useful as an introduction to Hooist thought and a tool to help internalize Hoospeak, only personal experience and intense contemplation can reveal the truth. If for even a second you were swayed by the arguments presented by any text besides scripture on this website, strongly consider rereading all passages, as you are likely to have "nateached" or learned far too little or too much from your recent readings. Otherwise, you would understand what needs to be done (at least to the extent necessary to act) and most likely are not reading reading this statement.
